The Tx/Rx audio signals are galvanically isolated by Bourns 600:600 Ohm transformers and the hardware PTT is opto-isolated. PTT keying is via the interfaces built-in USB comm port RTS signal or you can choose to PTT over the CAT commands if your transceiver supports this. The interface plugs into a free USB port on your PC and to your transceiver CAT and Data/PKT ports.
